NRECA's Youth Tour to Washington, DC is a great way to learn more about our government and electric cooperatives, as well as develop leadership skills. Not only do delegates tour the museums and monuments in the nation's capitol, but they have an opportunity to meet with Indiana's U.S. Representatives. Congressman Mike Pence is a long-time supporter of Youth Tour and enjoys meeting the delegates on the Capitol steps for questions and photos. Historic Gettysburg and the Battlefield are also memorable stops on the tour. Visit your local electric cooperative website for additional information about the tour and to learn how to apply.
